Maple laminate, LED bulb, Mulberry Paper
A hollow circular base holds a tall arched handle, within which sits 2 floating circles holding a mulberry paper shade. A bent laminated bulb holder also sits hidden within the handle. The 4 elements are assembled using interlocking scarf joints. The components are formed using glued strips of maple laminate, pressed and set within CNC’d molds to produce the curved forms.
